At The River, we are on a mission to teach classes and programs that both grow the students in their art form as well as in their faith. We are so grateful for this chance to be working with students and we are working to offer programs in dance, theatre, and art that are helpful, cost-effective, and engaging for families. It's always fun to watch a student learn a new step or perfect a new technique- but it's even better when we get to share God's love at the same time.

Toddler and Preschool Age Dance
Toddler and Preschool Age Dance
Ages 2-5 is a great time to introduce children to dance. It helps with balance, coordination, musicality, rhythm and so much more. We offer a variety of class times and options with ballet, tap, and creative movement and even have classes specificially designed for boys. Check our schedule for class times or reach out for more information.

Our instructors are ready to help your dancer improve their technique from beginning through advanced levels. We love watching our students succeed and believe that everyone can dance. We are still a new studio, so if you don't see the technique or level you are looking for on our schedule, just let us know - we might be able to offer a private lesson or it might be one of our upcoming classes!
Dance Ministry
Dance Ministry
Our dance ministry program is tuition free and open to everyone ages 6 and up- no dance experience needed. Classes include bible study, service projects, and of course- dancing! We learn a variety of dance techniques through our pieces and we try to use our dances to serve the community and to worship.
We hope to add ministry classes in theatre and art soon!

Our art classes are for ages 3 and up, starting with our "Make a Mess" class for the preschool crew and going up to drawing, painting, clay work and more.
Theatre Classes
Theatre Classes
Ages 4 and up can join our theatre program. Classes are on Mondays with options for acting and musical theatre. 2022 will bring a March and June performance- more details coming soon!
Mommy & Me Classes
Mommy & Me Classes
Join us for our Movement and Music classes for babies from 4 months to 2 years. No need to commit to a month or semester- you can use our class pass to come whenever you want!
Becoming Artists
Becoming Artists
What is taught in the Becoming Artists classes? Here are Lauren's plans!
đź’™School-aged kids (2nd-13) - The class will meet every Wednesday and include a lesson on the artist and/or medium we are focused on. We will then work on an art piece that is inspired by this! We will focus on how to properly use the medium and how to grow our skills. After they have completed their project for the day they will be allowed free time to play around with the medium and create whatever they want!
These classes are intended to most importantly be FUN but also grow your child’s skill and knowledge!
đź’™Preschool kiddos - (3-6- must be potty trained) Each class will start with story time and a lesson based on that theme. The kids will use unconventional mediums to create art! We will explore things like sponges, marshmallows, ice cubes etc!!! Kids will explore their sensory needs and have FUN!! The kids will be able to get messy and play with their medium! Children this age learn best from feeling and doing. Their little minds and muscles grow SO much from play during this age. Just holding the tool will help prepare their hands for writing one day! Art classes will allow your kiddo to get their creativity out with me instead of on your walls!
